Aqua Aerobics or water aerobics as it is more commonly referred to, is a very popular form of low impact non-weight bearing exercise.
Water aerobics supports the body and reduces the risk of muscle or joint injury. Since the buoyancy of water supports 90 percent of the body, practically anyone can do aqua aerobics, regardless of factors like fitness levels, weight, age, and health conditions.
Water aerobics conditions all the major groups of muscles, as well as the lungs and heart. Plus, it is a gentle way of building cardio-respiratory and muscular endurance.
