The Challenge Sports Experience offers a range of recreational and sporting activities for schools and people of all ages and is run by professional and qualified instructors.
Activities can be tailored to suit your group’s specific needs such as:

Team Sports
Modified Sports Sessions
Students experience a range of sporting sessions which include warm up activities, skill activities and playing a modified game.

Tabloid Sports Competition
This activity allows students to learn skills from a number of different sports whilst they rotate through each sporting station.

Round Robin
Students form teams and play against each other in a friendly round robin competition. Choose from indoor sports such as soccer, volleyball, basketball, netball and hockey.
Gymnastics, Dance and Aerobics
Gym Fun
An ideal activity for primary school aged children. Students enjoy games and activities including an obstacle course, pit relays, hide and seek and many other games incorporating the gymnastics equipment in the WAIS Gymnastics training centre.
Fun Dance
Our experienced dance teachers take children through a series of warm ups followed by dance movement, creative dance expression and simple choreographed dance routines to cool music. Suitable for children aged 5 – 7 years.
Funk Dance
This high energy class is for students aged 8 – 17 years. They’ll learn basic dance moves choreographed to the latest music.
Teen Fit
Specially designed for students aged 11 – 17 years, Teen Fit is a fun and safe class for fitness and toning and includes cardio boxing, step and dance aerobics as well as physical conditioning and Pilates.
Water Activities*
Giant Pool Inflatable
Children and students of all ages will love the floating 17m long inflatable obstacle course in the pool.
Wild Water Polo
A great way to introduce students to water polo. Sessions include warm up activities, skill activities and playing a modified game.
Pool Water Games
Our most popular activity. Pool Games mixes a range of fun water games, including jumping off the dive boards, riding the tubes in the bubbler and you can get into the competitive spirit with noodle and tube races and relays.
*Students must be aged 8 years and older. All students are given a swim test to assess their ability with buoyancy belts given to weak swimmers.
Educational Experiences
Venue Tour
Take a guided tour through VenuesWest Challenge Stadium’s elite training facilities. Tours may include facilities including the NEW VenuesWest Athletics Stadium, operations and the WA Institute of Sport. Tours can be taken as stand alone or can be incorporated into other activity bookings.
Guest Speakers
Inspire your students with a talk from a Paralympian, Commonwealth or Olympic Games representative, or educate them with a valuable nutrition and training seminar.
